eww, you've reminded me of that horrible neil gaiman story now.

Feeders are real people who get sexual gratification from watching people
gain weight. This isn't the same as having a fat fetish. These are people
who will in a very predatory way, select targets who are self-conscious
about weight problems, and they will "take care" of them. They will feed
the person more and more until the person becomes so dangerously fat that
they can no longer, walk, move, etc.

Normally, I'm the type to say, ech, but two consenting adults, not my
problem. Here's the thing that makes feeders so messed up. It's a cycle
with a guaranteed ending. After a point one of the following occurs.
Either the feedee: A) becomes so morbidly obeese that they can no longer
gain weight, and the feeder abandons them to find a new target. The feedee
frequently then dies of dehydration, as they are now incapable of getting up
to walk to the bathroom for water; B) decides, you know what, I liked being
only six-hundred pounds, when I could still walk. The person is then
abandoned by the feeder, if this is before the feedee is incapable of
movement they have a shot, but frequently have lost jobs, friends, etc. and
is screwed or dead; C) the feedee becomes so fat they have a heart attack
and die.

In all cases, feeders usually then leave to form their own lives, with other
targets until its time to move on. It's amazingly predatory and disgusting
on a level that I can't comprehend. I don't get what would make someone do
this to another human being. But I also made an annhilomancer who felt
killing amoromancers was the only reasonable alternative...

I'm sure there's something UAble about feeders. I mean look at it. It's so
UAble, but I've never been able to think of it. It's too much somehow.
It's like the holocaust, some things you just avoid. And I've broken that
rule, but it was after the fact... survivors, etc.
