There's a real difference, I think, between 'disbelief' and 'lack of
belief'. The first is active denial of validity; the second is refusal to
make a judgement either way.

I'd classify myself as agnostic, since I don't believe in spiritual or
supernatural stuff - but that isn't the same as saying I _disbelieve_ in
such stuff. I simply don't have an opinion on it.
