i feel like i should know what any of these things are, but sadly you lost
me somewhere around "pirates".

the witness? that might make an interesting archetype. as oppsed to the
messenger, it's someone who had information passed them to them rather than
one who passes information. or something.
of course, being someone who *ahem* still hasn't got statosphere *cough*
that archetype could already exist for all i know. doh. but i like the idea
of the person who gets to see stuff but can't do anything about it. like the
(non lucid) dreamer or the scientific observer. fly-on-the-wall documentary
maker as godwalker?
