Actually, historically speaking, Luther's act wasn't all that blatant. At
the time in the holy roman empire, Church doors were commonly used as
bulleton boards to post messages for the educated laity and the clergy. So
when people say he "nailed the 97 treatises to the church door." Thats a
lot more like "sent a strongly worded e-mail to the local Roman Catholic
Church e-mail list.

Is this referring to the Shakespeare & Co. in Berkeley, or is it a chain of
bookstores, or is it something else entirely?
