I assume that (apart from the rodent-like marsupials) you're talking about 
extinct species? The "marsupial lion" is well and truly gone, as is the 
carnivorous kangaroo (shame that), and I have no idea what these "no-cattle" 
things that you refer to are.

Arguably we should be farming kangaroos instead of cattle, but I don't think 
that's what you meant.
