Have you read the Mystic Hermaphrodite's writeup in Statosphere? I'm not talking about actual hermaphroditism here, but about channeling the archetype in the IC, which involves the combination of opposites. The conflict between male and female is the strongest in our culture, but not the only one (indeed, as our society progresses, we get closer to the MH becoming the Cyborg, the blending of man and machine)
