Good fellow, you might enjoy reading about Josephin Peladon (whose name 
seems to be spelled differently in different sources). He founded Catholic 
Rosicrucianism in the late years of the 19th century. He's one of my 
favourite heretics.

Then I went and insulted the poor guy by making him an Egyptian mummy in a 
storyteller-ish Gaslight freeform that I wrote. Seeing him team up with Mina 
Harker (the Slayer) to take out a Wild West vampyre whose six-shooter fired 
thorns was worth it though.

I have to warn you, Pope Leo was a troublemaker, though! Not only did he get 
a bit mouthy about human rights, he went around blessing people with True 
Faith 6 just to see who would get knocked through walls. He deserved what he 
got when Hapexamendios showed up.

Most of these characters probably wouldn't fit into a UA by Gaslight - too 
many Barkeresque special effects. I am surprised that there's never been a 
WoD gaslight supplement, though, because it works beautifully.
