    House of Long Shadows was definitely the picture I was
thinking of in response to the idea from the original poster. In
fact, though I'm still fuzzy on the details of HoLS, it seems
that the corny ending and the variation from the original story
actually fit what (Dustin? I'm not sure I remember who started
it) was thinking of. I wish I could remember the picture better.
I think it had the right kind of "unselfconscious about it's own
exploitative corniness" vibe to be a good UA picture.
