we have represented in this mailing list?<<<
I imagine that this will turn out to be relevant to UA in some way that will
surprise most of us. That seem to be the pattern.
It's not a question that I personally can answer with a convenient label; I
spent most of last year thinking about it (that, and taking theatre with a
bunch of fun 1st years).
Are you expecting organised religions in this answer?
I was raised Catholic, I was taught the historical facts of the ancient
world (including the development of modern religions), I believe in the
scientific method and that knowledge is tentative, I enjoy European and
Buddhist philosophy, I value multiculturalism, I'm anti-superstitious but
fascinated by the occult, I'm dismissive of "invented" religions but try to
keep an open mind, I don't pray but sometimes suspect the influence of an
intelligent agent in my life. Gah, what a mess.
Screw it. Stoicism gets me through the hard days, and that's what counts.
Guess I'm a Stoic.
