ontopic bit: umm... typecasting as forced avatarhood? Some sort of ritual to leak away the reality of the actor stuck in similar roles (see the terrible effects it has had on Adam West) perhaps to use it elsewhere, in a bizarre metafictional version of the plot to Labyrinth?
