It seems a little more extreme than that.

I like the idea suggested in the agent's background of an entropomancer (or any adept I suppose) who goes into a coma while obtaining a major charge.  I imagine that could make for some interesting stories in itself, as some other adept decides it's too hard to get a major charge himself, and as long as the bodybag's just laying in a coma, he won't miss it, right?  So someone finds a ritual or spell to steal charges from other adepts (kleptomancers can do something like this, right?  I forget how it works, though) and goes after it.  Some other group also tries to get the charge, while the Sleepers want to just off the guy (to get rid of the possibility of misusing the charge).  

The unnatural effects being generated by the charge could resemble some sort of ghostly hauntings, so the PCs go to investigate, looking for a ghost, and get stuck in the middle of a battle over the charge.

Something like that, anyway.
