That was the impression I received from the recipient. This is lunch, not
art.

Sumerian?  I forget) where the hero creates sheep from clay, brings them to

then went on to eat).

I saw a short documentary recently upon clay-eating and ritual magic in
Africa, which is more the sort of thing I'm thinking of. Real-world cases of
eating dirt.

Somewhere in my head is ringing a vague memory of this sort of thing often
being associated with religious anthrophagy, where people eat graveyard dirt
that contains traces of human remains.
