What kind of limitations would you add?

'cause I have this idea for Mechanomancer gadgets that are hybridized
Shotgun/Cameras, with a dash of "Aura Film" thrown in - they can steal
memories.  Not, by the way, to fuel Mechanomancy.  No, they steal memories
and experiences to  fillin the blanks in the memories of this one, totally
twisted mechanomancer.

However, the aformentioned gizmos are whatchamacallem.  Artifacts.  And, as
such, they might not even /be/ Mechanomantic.

However - OK, here's the real question - if Mechanomancers cannot create
Machines capable of magical effects, then what kind of artifacts would they
build?  (I love the artifact rules, BTW.  Simple, elegant and sensible.)
