I like the "Two-Faced Man as con man" idea, too.

I wrote up a story involving a stuntman/Entropomancer on the list a
while back... it was generated by that "random plot generator" cgi
someone posted a link to.

It involved the aforementioned stuntman jumping a bus off a drawbridge
(or something similarly "Speed"-esque) for a Major charge, then cooling
his heels in jail while deciding what to do with it. While imprisoned,
he meets an old guy with a sad sad story about the death of his wife and
the subsequent disintegration of his life. The stuntman decides to undo
the wife's death and give the guy the happy life he should have had,
blowing the major charge. He eventually escapes from prison -- probably
by insulting the heads of every major prison faction and generating a
mess of charges, which he uses to get out alive. When he tracks down the
old guy to see how his new life went and to call in the favor, not only
does the guy not remember him, but he's managed to fuck up his marriage
and his life regardless.

I always liked that story. (pats self on back)
