Funny thing that. Happens to me all the time. I come across a cool site,
forget to bookmark it and a few weeks later *poof*, it's gone without a
trace. The search engine spits out 17,143,322 pages on that subject, but the
one I am looking for isn't there.

Which gives me an idea for UA.

Lets say there's this phantom site, which people occasionally stumble upon
while surfing. It's a legend of the geek-world. You may come across it by
accident but if you're looking for it on purpose, no luck. You can't save
it - what you get is a 10mb file of html gibberish. You can't bookmark it
either. It has no fixed url - you receive the 404 treatment and the link
that got to the site in the first place is gone.

To a group of adepts who base their magick on computers/internet this could
be the kind of Holy Grail that the Naked Goddes tape is for pornomancers. A
guy who ascended as the Computer Geek was setting that site up when "it"
happened. From that day the site haunts the net showing up in different
places to different people and dissapearing again without a trace.

Or it could be just another one of those unexplained things out there. A
page devoted to some dark, creepy subject like serial murders. It has a lot
of frightening descriptions, shocking photos and some really vicious mojo.
It pops up on someone's screen and mesmerizes him with a mixture of violence
and madness. It plants a seed of obsession in his mind. The obsession grows
with time and ultimately that someone goes off on a killing spree becoming
the next Jack the Ripper. As for the site it vanishes as if it never
existed.

Or it could be both of the above, making the info/compumancers a really sick
bunch.

What do you guys think?
