So I had to write it up at home...

*The Beautiful People*

An awful lot of stress is placed on teenagers by the media, that tell them how to look to be popular. In fact, it's not merely limited to teenagers or kids generally (ugly ones tend to get bullied), but even adults have been sucked into this whirlpool of perfectness, as is visible by watching any homeshopping channel. Health is good and all that, but the pressures placed on people to work out just to look good tends to drive people into misery.

That's where the unnatural creatures commonly known as The Beautiful People step in. No, they're not ones you see on the silver screen or on page 3. They're the ones who you see in each other's arms in the bar, the ones who have rejected you over and over again, the ones you see in your head when you're alone.

They're not here to accomplish anything. They cannot be truly interacted with. They can't achieve anything, although they still seem to have lots and lots of money and valuables. They're here to simply drive you crazy with despair, to throw you in the pool of self-pity and envy – to make your life miserable, should you ever approach them. And every time you make out with them in your imagination or work out to look like them or show any respect to them in one way or the other, they gain in strength and numbers, and you enforce your image as a puny weakling, a miserable nobody, the unwanted one – to make sure your life's not worth living for.
