I am working on a town that eats people and has
Nonentities as antibodies...

The children get replaced by hungry nonentities. The
soulless crave the attention the parents dote on their
children and assumes the child's place. If it very
quiet, cries coming out of the closets, pantries and
toolsheds can be heard. The Nonentity pulls the child
into whatever sidereal hole it coughed out of. Now the
original kids friends have to access this bizarre
half-real dimension and rescue there friend before the
imposter subsumes his existence and reality makes him,
well, real. Kinda like a bad acid trip version of The
Lion, Witch and Wardrobe, with the kids scurrying
around a huge maze made up of forgotten rooms and
hallways of long destroyed houses and their voices
echoing out of bathtub drains and locked, dusty
steamer trunks and unplayed-with toy clowns...
