    I'd suggest that we change the titles of the madness meters to something that evokes
the flavor of adolescence a little better.
    I'd add Bless the Beasts and Children, I Am the Cheese, and Catcher in the Rye to the
list. What's that Ballard novel about the kids in the gated community that kill all their
folks?
    If you were to throw together an essay on adjusting the play of the game and an essay
about kids in fiction in front of a bunch of possibly related adventures, you'd have an
award-winning piece of work. Several of us have written kid stuff, and we had that
fantastic Miami mythology thing--maybe you're preaching to the choir. But it would be a
gutsy and challenging thing to do.
