I think the game could be split into three distinct
categories.
One would be a more lighthearted but still weird
setting similar to "Eerie, Indiana" or even a darker
"Scooby Doo."
Still another could be a setting where the kids talk
like adults, i.e. Buffy the Vampire Slayer or a
supernatural Dawson's Creek, the stories would still
be a school-centric though.
And the third route is a mixture of the two, with
kid-like kids wading their way through a bizarre
occult undercurrent in their neighborhood and school.
And since they're just kids, no one's gonna believe
them when they talk about the principal channelling
the True King or the Cafeteria lady being an avatar of
the Flying Woman. Oooh... maybe the school bully is
posessed by a demon. This sounds like a fun little
game.
