I've thought of a plotline where one group feels that the
last seats of the Invisible Clergy are nearly filled.  This
group doesn't want the universe to end.  

So, this group has vowed to kill the Comte.  Of course,
it's probably easier to kill everyone who has a chance of
embodying a new archetype *grin*

Whether the group can actually do it or not is irrelevant. 
If the PCs are told of this, are going to dismiss it as a
crackpot or actually try to stop them?  If these are
regular UA PCs, then they're not likely to ignore crackpots
*grin*
