Here are a few other places I've seen UA advertised or favorably
reviewed:
  - "Realms of Fantasy" fiction magazine, published by Soverign Media.
  - Diamond Previews
  - Game Trade catalog, put out by Alliance (?)

Get some good-natured lampooning in John Kovalic's "Dork Tower".
I can see it now...
Matt: "OK, tonight we're playing Nameless Navies! It's like
         'Pulp Fiction', but with magic!"
Ken: "You said we were going to revisit AD&D!"
  Perky: "Whose pyramid is this?"
  Matt: "It's a 4-sider, baby."
  Perky: "Whose 4-sider is this?"
  Matt: "Ken's."
  Perky: "Who's Ken?"
Matt: "Ken's dead, baby. Ken's dead."

Ok, maybe not.
