[UA] Recurring Dreams

Perfect.
Just perfect.
You guys have reminded me of a series of dreams I used
to have that I'd managed to forget.
Basically, it's all mirrors in the dark.
Look in a dimly lit mirror, see a face not your own,
or your own with a strange or crazed expression,
sometimes have it break the mirror and try to choke
you, possibly having you wake up with a sore neck from
other causes.
Standard Bloody Mary type stuff. I'm sure you all
have had at least one, it seems common.
Thing was, I used to have them all the time. Now,
intellectually I knew that it all made perfect
psychological sense based on certain stuff going on
with my self-image at the time. Problem was,
emotionally all I knew was that dimly lit mirrors
scared the crap out of me. It got so bad that at
times I'd look in the mirror upon entering the
bathroom at night before turning on the light, and I'd
see someone or something else for a second, while at
least half awake.
Now, I got over all that quite a few years ago, after
I dealt with the problems behind it, but now it's come
back to my mind.
I'd like to just go to the bathroom mirror and take a
good look, but something tells me if I do, I won't be
sleeping for a while. Emotions are funny things
sometimes, and even irrational ones have power.
Ah, but at least I've got something emotionally
charged to put into my UA game tomorrow.
Now if I could just understand the dream I seem to
keep having whenever I get a bad fever or sleep after
going for more than about 30 hours without sleep, but
that I can't articulate in words.
It's got a map involved, and a odd green color, and a
vaguely s-shaped curve I can see in my head even now,
but that's all I can articulate even to myself. I
know it makes me feel *something* emotionally, and I
get this weird feeling whenever I try to remember it,
but I can never remember enough to understand why it
matters so much.
Dreams are strange.
