  Maybe someone's developed a reversed version of that
plutomancer spell (Pluto's Curse?) that destroys your
possesions but not your cash.  Alternatively someone
who keeos all his money in electronic accounts and
bought NEW stuff from ebay could (with infomancer help
be very difficult to track by plutomancy.
