I never thought about greg's statement about pagan before, but he's totally
right. Additionally, Atlas would have to dump UA probably sooner than 5
years if it really flag lest atlas follow the model of R. Talsorian.

Before you jump me about R. Talsorian putting out one of (or two of) the
greatest RPGs of all time, let me first say, you're wrong. They put out
three. Mekton (in all it's myriad forms), Cyberpunk (the black box and
2020), and Falkenstein are all brilliant games, but the company is basically
dead. I don't care what new stuff you've seen. I don't care what you've
heard rumors about. Mike Pondsmith got a day job and R. Talsorian is a
couple of shelves in chaosium games. How do I know this? I've met
Pondsmith, and several friends work at chaosium. Talsorian put out lines of
games that were in some cases good ideas, but they didn't sell regardless of
who liked them. And now R.T is a punchline.

Is there enough interest among the "hard core of intelligent fans" who could
do something to help, posting favorable reviews on sites that sell games,
something I try to do when I have the time, perhaps between a few of us and,
solely the ideas proposed on this forum a meaningful webzine could be
created, or simply more stuff could be posted on the official UA site? And
in either case, this may not matter. The hardest issue is to stop preaching
to the chior. We all love the game. We need to try to make others love it.
I just don't know how to do that.
