No apologies are really necessary, as I think that reaction was more my own than anyone else's (likely due to my esoteric music interests that seem not to be shared by others).  As for the archives, choose the subject for the month and scroll down for "scary music".  Also scan subject lines for previous months for other similar discussions.  A search system on the site could be useful, perhaps.
