I'm reminded of two odd and cool books by 1920s psychic
researcher John Dunne: _An Experiment with Time_ & The Serial
Universe_.

Dunne alleged that:

1) Dreams contain fragments of events from you waking life, with
events closer in time being more commonly represented than older
events.

2) Consciousness is time-independent in dreams, so you can
dream fragments of events from tomorrow as easy as yesterday.

Thus he explains such fragmentary precog as fragments of your
future actions, and goes on to develop a weird theory of time and
prove the existence of an immortal soul and free will (the later being
a good trick btw). Wonderfully wacky stuff that's just begging to be
used in a game like UA.

Now, as long as folks are sharing nightmares:

In college I had a dream where I was in my dorm at night, but most
of the lights were out and the rest were quite dim. I was walking
the empty halls, when I ran into a *seriously* nerdy/quirky friend of
mine. He grabbed me, pulled me down on the ground, and I could
feel my life and soul being pulled out of my body, while I looked up
at his eyes that were black and featureless. *Very* terrifying, I
tried to scream and could feel myself being able to do nothing more
than whisper (knowing that if I actually screamed someone would
likely come out of their room and save me). At one point I almost
woke up, caught a glimpse of my room and then was pulled back
in, then I finally managed to pull myself awake. I never told that
friend about the dream, since he would likely have made a big joke
about it, and I was *not* up for that.
