I guess you made your point. For the edification of
all,

SATOR
AREPO
TENET
OPERA
ROTAS

is a magic square. In a way, it's THE magic square, a
symbolic talisman referenced in mainstream occult
writings (now there's an oxymoron) from McGregor's
Book of Abra-Melin to, as is mentioned below, 4th
Century churches. The words are latin and appear, by
most accounts, to mean something like "Slowpoke Arepo
keeps the wheels turning" or "at work" or something.
Suggestions abound that Arepo is another name for God
or an Angel or a Daemon, ad nauseum. It is also
suggested that this was a major seal of the templars
and it certainly counted as evidence against them in
their trail. The symbol can be found at Malta as well
as some more modern churches. "Holy Blood, Holy
Grail" certainly links it to the Templars and to the
Merovingian Monarchs (the bloodline of Christ, per the
book's authors) through them.

It does not have to be written as a square. It has
been found inscribed on the outer edges of circular
amulets and on long, thin strips of paper. Of course,
if you DO write it as a square, the two TENETs form a
cross. Tenet means "he holds" (So I guess I should
say that the words mean "Arepo, he who slows, holds
the wheels from working.")

Maybe Arepo isn't God after all.
