Jo Hart just squicked my brain over in Pyramid.

She asked how much more interesting would things be if
Alex Abel were female? 

"It would have been a much more clearcut fight for ascension
with the invisible goddess -- they would clearly have been in
contention for the archetype of 'the woman who has power over
men.'"

This whole conversation/discussion has been worthwhile, but this
bit is the topper.

*shudder*

And it has such a nice ripple-effect through the supplementary
info on Abel, too-- changes the whole tenor of the meeting with
Daphnee Lee, the existence of Luther Miles, and a whole bunch of
other things.

Neat.
