Kinda bizzare and scary, a 3rd party attempts to get into Marc Chapman's
mind and determine why he murdered John Lennon. Contains bits like:

"Dali had based his composition on Harmon's experimental work on visual
perception, and how little information we actually need to recognise a
face: Dali extended the idea to make each 'tile' a separate image in itself,
but the face of Abraham Lincoln is still clear.
Abraham Lincoln, or "Father Abe" was the patriarch of his nation, who
believed he had been charged by God to bring the country together. He
claimed to hear voices, and witnessed dreams and omens calling him to this
special mission to become the Preserver of the Union - yet many believe he
split the country in two, and in reality, he was the Sunderer of the Nation.
He gave his famous "A House divided against itself cannot stand.." speech,
and then watched his country torn apart by war.
He was assassinated, on Good Friday, while sitting in a theatre watching a
play.
Perhaps, in all of that, Mark Chapman saw parallels between the "theatrical"
killing of Lincoln and the "literary" killing of John Lennon."

and

"Mark Chapman felt he was receiving special broadcast signals telling him to
read Salinger's novel "The Catcher In The Rye" . With each page read, he
felt that
he was becoming Holden Caulfield, the "Catcher", whose role was to protect
little children from harm. But as he listened to Lennon's songs on the
Double Fantasy album in October 1980, it seemed that Lennon was posing as
the new "Catcher" - Mark reacted angrily: there could not be two Catchers."

Perhaps a Chronicler documenting a battle between different Avatars?

Extra neat part is that the article is written as if it were being prepared
for UA source material :)

Chris.
