As far as Baltimore being "far away from nearly everyplace you're
considering", let us not forget...
Less than an hour from Washington, DC
Less than an hour from the US Army chemical warfare labs, storage
facilities, and dumping grounds of the Aberdeen Proving Grounds
Home to Johns Hopkins, where you know all kind of black ops medical
experimentation and genetic crap is going on in the basement.
