Irascimancy, lacrimancy, and (to a limited extent) traumamancy seem to be
variations on a particular theme - solicit a particular emotional response
in others, but you are unable to feel that emotion yourself. This cuts down
on the coolness factor, but within the context of UA is entirely
appropriate. Considering that "schools" of magick can have as few as a
handful of practitioners, small idiosyncratic groups of adepts are well
within reason.
