Hmmm.. Brain death in UA:

1) Is the brain dead person consider 'dead' (ie: does their soul move beyond the
veil)
  My answer: yes

2) Can a brain-dead person be possed by a Demon?
My answer - yes, but the demon has to guided in with some sort of ritual since
a brain-dead body has no pressence on the Astral plane.
