I've tried PBeMs, and they aren't for me. I think the medium encourages a
certain level of overwriting and verbosity, and I prefer a tighter, faster
style and pace.

Oh I'm not abandoning it - just possible shelving it for a while. I pitched
five different campaign ideas to the players I know. The ones that have
responded have been more interested in my ABERRANT and BRAVE NEW WORLD
campaigns than in Gangland.
Worse case scenario, I run something else for a year, then re-offer Gangland
to the group. And I may still do Gangland - the votes aren't all in yet.
