I enjoy the heck out of his fiction, but I like his essays even more.  Fun 
reading.  But for UA inspiration, both _Strange Wine_ and _Deathbird 
Stories_ are full of good things.  "The Whimper of Whipped Dogs" has a very 
UAish feel, I think.
