I have a female Iconomancer GMC in my campaign who channels only male icons 
(don't read too much into this, please).  They are John Wayne and Bruce Lee 
(both minor charges only) and Elvis (significant).

I haven't written up a complete description for Bruce Lee as an icon yet, 
but mostly the channels involve a variety of martial arts and fighting score 
modifiers.  I imagine Bruce Lee is a popular enough figure to be an icon, 
though.
