You know, that's just _bizarre_. And it makes you wonder about why the owners
have made the building into a proxy for a boat, and what they gain mystically by
doing so...
(Still reading LOW LIFE, about New York in the 19th century. The chapter on
gambling has lots of interesting UA stuff - such as the time one gambler came
into a casino, dealt and played faro for a few hours, then shot himself in the
head at the table. Wonder why he needed the sig. charge so badly...)
