I don't want to stifle debate here, but may I suggest something of a
vacation from the sexism thread?  What I propose is that we take today
(Saturday) and Sunday off from posting about it.  If you've got some
insight or comment that's particularly trenchant, wait for Monday.  I just
think it'll give the air a chance to clear and keep people from reflexively
firing back answers.
