It's quite likely you do. We have very few judicial duties, but the -one-
we have which other people seem to find occluded is issuing warrants. For
example, the justice, technically, asks the police to excercise the warrant.
It's just convienent that they are there, with it written out, and have
professional indemnity insurance in case they get things wrong while
following the will of the Justice. Justices aren't very good with the law,
unless they are solictors at the same time (whichis handy because it means
their practice has one on hand for court documents). I'm just a librarian,
and do most of my Justicing while witnessing signatures.

(Note that, yep, I'm a JP (Q), not one of the real (as in actually -paid-)
Servants of Justice.)

The odd thing from a UA perspective is that when I'm doing the Justice
thing, I'm acting as the Crown...now, what is that exactly? Technically,
the Queen and the Crown are different things, since the Crown is permanent
and the Queen isn't. "Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi".

Now, a lot of people did a lot of odd things on behalf of the Empire and the
Crown, and the Crown even has ceremonial guards and tourists paying homage,
so what -is- it? Does this link to the failure of the republic referendum?
Why do we need to keep the disembodied Crown? Who gets the charges? Is
there someone trying to Ascend who -needs-the Crown and couldn't get there
in a republican system? On the other hand, was Keating, or Turnbull, trying
to take Cromwell's place, or Washington's, or something, as founder of the
Millennial Republic?

A lot of people believe in it, we see it every day on things, but it isn't a
person...

What -is-the Crown?
