	Or french letters? Or taking french leave? I'm always 
amused by the way the French and the English blame one another 
for certain things (the French horn, le Cor Anglais, taking 
french leave, filer a l'anglais, etc). Even in the post-modern 
world some traditions stay strong and survive the rigors of 
the modernizing vogue. 

ObUA: What magics are so closely tied to the human psyche 
and self-image that they remain pretty much as they are 
despite ascensions and re-writing of the collective 
subconscious operating code that ascensions entail? I mean, 
with the ascension of the Naked Goddess, the OU gets the 
idea that everyone is making out better than themselves 
and the paranoia creeps up a notch. Should a Max Attak-er 
get into the Clergy magic might become more available to 
the common geek on the street. What changes were wrought 
when the Mother ascended? Or War? What would an OU, or 
indeed a world, without some of the early archetypes
