The only mesh issue I have w/ the Invisibles and UA is the superdood nature
of the Invisibles - with the UA system, I really can't see King Mob's combat
antics leaving him with only one bullet in so many issues.
But thematically, you have the concept of the Universe being constructed
from the overlap of conflicting ideas (Entropy/Order) and within that
overlap you have "time and space." Inside of time and space, humanity (one
entity, in truth) can take root and grow, and eventually develop into an
actual organism (the Invisble Clergy becomes filled) and give birth to the
metacosmos, the new organism - the ascension of the Comte...
I just think that the Invisibles isn't over the top enough of OTE.

Well, benevolent? He does fund Cell 23...brrr...
How about Jack Frost? Well, what if by "Buddha" or "Messiah" we mean
"reincarnation of the Comte?" How's that for a take on the First and Last-
the only person who reliably recalls every incarnation they've had, in one
way or the next? Or, chess bastard is the "immortal" Comte, the one who
never dies - and Jack Frost is the latest version of the "immortal" Comte,
who is died and reborn forever. Perhaps every 333rd rebirth, he is
"somebody..."
Boy freaked out and bailed when she got that fifth failed self notch (cell
23, natch).
And to me, the concept of key-23 screams to be used when my PCs encounter
101 and the Rahyid.
In any case,
Patrick
