It's true, FRANKENSTEIN IN LOVE is pretty dire.  But Barker has other plays,
many of which are good.

For me, his comedies are good, while his 'serious' plays tend to be rather
overblown and pretentious.  Two comedies are especially good - CRAZYFACE and
SUBTLE BODIES.  In fact, I hope to be directing and producing a version on
SUBTLE BODIES sometime late next year.  Fingers crossed.

But avoid the aforemention FiL, as well as LEVIATHAN.  Both dreadful.

These unemployed actors gone bad are the worst.  When they're not whoring
on streetcorners or trying to look menacing as they loiter around the drama
sections of bookstores, they form gangs that relentlessly try to attach
