No - the working both with and against reality is perfect for the mystic
haemaphrodite.  


For the general case:
It's possible to use magick to bludgeon reality into a new position -
and then your avatar resonates with this new reality.  Sometimes this is
easier than adjusting yourself to fit reality.  More often it's done
because the avatar/adept is too stubborn to change.
