I too am a fan of Poe's moody pop-groove.  The new one is different from her 
last, at first listen I was a little ambivalent, but it's quickly becoming a 
current favorite.
I picked up her brother's book, I take it the new CD is heavily inspired by 
the book.  I just started it this evening, but so far I like what I've read.
