Let me refine that data point for you.

Yesterday we shipped out our second Penumbra adventure, a little jaunt I
wrote called "Thieves in the Forest."

The number of copies we shipped yesterday, its first day of sales, is
significantly larger than the number of copies that we have shipped of the
Unknown Armies core rulebook since the day it went on sale in January 1999.
By "Significantly Larger," I mean "the difference is greater than a year's
reorder sales of UA."

This will be the first year since the publication of Lunch Money in 1996
that any other product of ours is likely to sell more units than it.

Granted, as an adventure I expect that the sales of this new booklet will
drop precipitously after its initial release. Plus, I expect D20 sales in
general to drop sharply as the flood of D20 materials hits the market in the
next few months. (We hope that the Penumbra brand is getting established as
a wall to protect us from the flood, to keep us on retailers' default "must
order" list.) Still, it's incredible to behold.
