Good review, Patrick, as usual.

Have you read Palahniuk's SURVIVOR?  I haven't read IM yet, but SURVIVOR is perhaps funnier than FIGHT CLUB, if less visceral (my favorite part's a strangely Freudian scene in a public restroom stall).

While we're talking Glamour Scum books, has anyone read Bret Easton Ellis' GLAMORAMA?  It sounds interesting, but not having experienced any BEE I dunno if it'd be worth my time to hunt it down.
