    It's from my friend Dave, from an e-mail thread we were sending to each
other in which I asked him questions about his plans for a game.  The entire
excerpt of his goes like this (mine is too riddled with in-jokes):

Master Po sighed.  His student Eric Cain was learning so well.  The only
problem was that the silver contacts that the master was wearing were
beginning to
dry up, turning his eyes red and doing a real number on his sinuses.  The
"blind old master" shtick had its benefits.  The students were in awe
everytime he beat one of them sparring.  Any student that defeated Master Po
won the dubious distinction of being known as "the asshole who beat up an
old blind guy".

He had to come up with a distraction...

"Grasshopper how many mangos are on the trees in the garden?"

[and then it continued into mine, and then his, etc.]
