[UA] Damaged Goods and Credit--Back on topic!!

Mercedes watched in disbelief as Croid drew the boxcutter in a curved line on the floor. Dust and bits of fiber stuck to the sweat on his wrists and forehead as he worked at the bizarre pattern. Large flaps of carpet were flipped over, the shredded pink padding visible under the beige wall to wall making her think of a skinned rabbit.

"What you do that for man? You're never gonna get your deposit back if they find you did that!"

"That's the risk, chica! If they don't catch me, and I get my deposit back, I'm gonna get the juice but good!" the entropomancer cackled.


Seriously, I've got my deposit back once or twice. I much prefer to apply it against my last month's rent, so that I know I'm not going to get billed anything extra, and my landlord doesn't have to go to the hassle of returning it. That doesn't always work, though.
