Latin or Greek for "luxury" or "status"?  That's the easy answer.  But it
probably only has a fancy-schmancy name if the adept is self-consciously
"clued in" and wants his/her school to sound legitimate and impressive.  If
it's just something s/he does, s/he probably thinks of it as "just this
thing I do" or has some privately meaningful name for it.

Or you can go the smartass route and just call it "fancy-schmancy."
