Non-UA, but I like 'em: Preacher, Transmetropolitan, Hitman, Promethea. And there's a single Vertigo title called Dog Moon which is absolutely cool.
While reading that one I found the language used very poetic, it had a beat like a rock song. Then in the afterword I read that the complete comic is written using only monosyllabic words.
On a related note, does anyone know the novel 'The Void'? This novel uses no words containing the letter 'e' (no kidding!) - and it is a translation of a French novel which does the same. I tried to get it through amazon but they couldn't deliver.
