Er...seriously. In my game, the big bad guy had magickally linked himself to
his kid. The first time he was mortally wounded, the kid would die instead.
Big Bad guy killed the kid's mother and hid the kid.

Anyway, every winter, on the anniversary of her death, the mother would come
back and phone her parents, trying to tell them what had happened. The first
scenario had the PCs being called in to investigate these bizarre phone
calls. I had a little song and everything for her.

*digs in the hard drive*
*reads*
